The GPS-003 consists of a high-performance GPS engine board based on the industrial leading
architecture, a low profile patch antenna, and a conventional RS-232 transceiver. It provides fast
positioning and instant real time navigation capability, even in a urban canyon, while consuming
little power.
- The GPS-003 delivers quality navigation information to a PC through its standard serial port at
4800/9600 baud rate in GPS enabled map software. The GPS-003 will help you arrive at your destination comfortably
and effortlessly.
- The GPS-003 is a single unit capable of interfacing with a wide variety of application software and Navigation equipment.
Plug-Navigate-Position is the new GPS-003 Receiver/Antenna
concept. When integrated with your Personal Computer
running a Map Software, the GPS-003 provides real-time position of your vehicle and helps you navigate to your next
destination. The GPS-003 Mobile locator is a low cost/high quality GPS solution for integrating
to an AVL, Fleet Management System and Marine Navigational Aid. The unit is a single GPS
Receiver/Antenna in a low profile waterproof sealed enclosure with a magnetic base
mount. It interfaces to a serial port (RS 232) of your computing device.

- HOW TO USE THE GPS-003
- Step 1. Plug RS-232 to COM port to your Notebook PC or Handheld PC.
- Step 2. Plug PS/2 connector in the PS/2 mouse outlet of your Notebook PC.
- Step 3. Place your GPS-003 on the outside roof of your Vehicle with magnetic base, or put the GPS-003 on the place without metal shielded.
- Step 4. Power on your Notebook PC or Handheld PC.
- Step 5. Choose the correct COM port for running a map or navigation software.
- Notice :
- 1. Make sure the power is off before started.
- 2. For safety, do not proceed the above steps while driving.
- 3. Recommended to apply the clipper for individual locating, navigation, geographical survey as
outdoors.
- 4. For the best satellite signal reception, GPS-003 must keep horizontal while using the clipper.
- 5. In order to see NMEA0183 navigation data, set the Hyper Terminal program of port connected
with GPS-003 to
