| PICMG 1.0 platform - FS-97D is based on Intel Q35 Express chipset, which supports Intel's 45nm processors - Intel Core 2 Quad / Core 2 Duo at 800/1066/1333 MHz FSB, DDR2 memory up to 4.0 GB, Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3100 core with shared memory up to 384 MB and Microsoft DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 2.0. The ICH9DO supports RAID levels 0/1/5/10. Multiple display types for VGA , DVI or LVDS.
The FS-97D comes with floppy, PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse ports, 1 x RS232 & 1 x RS232/422/485 and 6 x SATA with 300MB/s transfer rate. Networking is provided by Intel 82573L Gigabit Ethernet. It has 8 x USB2.0 ports for 40X faster data transfer rate and is backward compatible to support USB 1.1 devices. 1 x IrDA and GPIO interface. Peripherals also include a Mini-PCI slot which is designed to accommodate the most power-hungry expansion cards, e.g. Wi-Fi card or COMMELL's Mini-PCI card .
