AEI Intelligent Technologies' CompactPCI dual port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet card (CP1200TX) is designed to deliver high performance, and high reliability for demanding applications, as well as legacy Fast Ethernet connectivity. It provides a full-duplex Gigabit Ethernet connection on an IEEE-compliant 3U Eurocard form factor (Optional 6U adapter kit). The Gigabit Ethernet interfaces provides unparalleled server throughput that helps reduce administrative complexity by replacing multiple slower interface cards with a single Gigabit adapter. Furthermore, the CP1200TX is competitively priced to compete against other multi-channel Fast Ethernet cards for those applications requiring port density.

Features

  • Ten times the throughput of standard Fast Ethernet cards.
  • 3U form factor with font panel I/O connectors.
  • Eliminates the need for Carrier cards.
  • Nway auto negotiation / automatic sensing and switching between 10 Mbps / 100 Mbps/ 1000Mbps AND half or full duplex operation.
  • 32/64-bit Auto Sense Data Path
  • Easy to install and configure.
  • Half or Full Duplex operation.
  • Cross Platform support for a broad range of operating systems and architectures.
  • DMA Bus Mastering for lower CPU utilization.
  • Hardware Hot Swap Adaptable (read above)
  • Access multiple network segments and conserve valuable PCI/PCI-X slots
  • Easy, cost-effective 10/100/1000 migration over existing Category-5 cabling
  • Multi-Gigabit scalability and increased uptime through advanced server features
