- Summary
- The ULTRA COMM+422.PCI provides four PCI bus RS-422/485 Async links for data collection and other devices. In RS-485 mode, our auto enable feature enables the RS-485 line driver during character transmission and disables the driver afterward allowing the standard COM: driver to be utilized for RS-485 communications. The onboard interrupt status port provides maximum Windows flexibility. The ULTRA COMM+422.PCI includes the 16550 UART, providing a 16 byte FIFO to keep your datacom applications running error free. Windows 3.1x drivers are available for more than 4 COM: ports. We include our Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98/NT and 2000 providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and other enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are also included to simplify installation.
