- OVERVIEW
- AFC1300SC/ST is a credit-card-size 16-bit PC Card Fast Ethernet 100Base-FX adapter. It conforms to IEEE 802.3u 100Base-FX standard. AFC1800C is equipped with SC Tx/Rx connectors while AFC1300ST is equipped with ST Tx/Rx connectors. It provides fiber optics link capability for notebook PC to connect to the existing fiber optics network at 100 Mbps data rate with multi-mode fiber cable. The node to node network distance can be up to 2 km in full-duplex operation mode for multi-mode fiber optics cable.
- Designed with integrated fiber connectors and getting power directly from the PC Card slot, AFC1300SC/ST will eliminate all attachment cables except the fiber.
- Diagnostic LEDs are easily visible for maintenance purpose. Extensive Network Operating System (NOS) drivers are available.
