Ultra compact, the PCMCIA adapter has all the features of a conventional 16-bit Ethernet card and more; it is NE2000 compatible and is proven to be 20% faster than a standard ISA adapter.
Utilizing VLSI surface mount technology, the entire processing unit is built into a light weight, slim case (5mm thickness) about the size of a credit card. The case is laser-sealed to prevent flexing and increase durability. With the TE-Series PCMCIA Ethernet Adapters there are no lugging around heavy power supplies either because they draw its power directly from the notebook.
