host adapters provides industry-leading 2 Gbit/s Fibre Channel performance
for high band-width applications and offers total bus throughput.
LSI Logic’s LSI7402XP quad port PCI-X host adapter incorporates two
LSIFC929X dual channel 2Gbit/s Fibre Channel controller devices, and a
133 MHz PCI-X bridge chip. LSI Logic’s LSIFC929X, the highest performance
dual channel controller available, incorporates LSI Logic’s Fusion-MPT
architecture for maximum performance with minimum host overhead. The
LSI7402XP maximizes your only PCI-X slot and offers increased connectivity
by offering four independent fibre channels on one host bus adapter.
LSI Logic also offers the LSI7202XP dual channel, 2Gbit/s PCI-X host
adapter and the LSI7102XP single channel, 2Gbit/s PCI-X host adapter.
Both host bus adapters are designed in the Low Profile PCI form factor making
them the right choice for 1U and 2U rackmount and standard servers.
LSI Logic’s PCI-X host adapter family supports switched fabric, arbitrated
loop and point to point topologies.
