The Micronix Eagle is a small, compact yet high performance telemetry/outstation system at a very affordable price. <

It is designed for collecting and logging parameters of analogue or digital nature at high speeds. Logging can automatically be triggered by time, time interval, alarms or user defined events and the data can be transferred on request from a central SCADA-based system.

Communication links through cellular, PSTN, satellite or radio modems are supported using Modbus RTU Communication Protocol. Access to data is protected by a password and call-back feature.

The Micronix Eagle RTU is supported by a comprehensive range of third party SCADA application software supporting Modbus RTU protocols. <

Besides the inherent basic datalogging facilities and for advanced application programming and system development, the ISaGRAF� Workbench Software Tool enables customers to develop additional advanced data acquisition and control applications in standard IEC 61131-3 PLC languages. It is a high performance soft-PLC with immense communication facilities. <

System description
The Micronix Eagle consists of three system modules:

Basic System: CPU and Power supply module
I/O System: Expansion modules
Software Systems: ISaGRAF� Workbench or customised software.

This configuration has the following specs:

386-33MHz CPU with SoftPLC, 2 MB RAM, RS232+RS232/485
I/O with 24 AI, 2AO, 8 DI, 8 DO (opto-isolated) and 2 counters
Power Supply with 2 MB Flash and UPS Battery charger
